On November 1, 2024, Secretary-General of the TCS LEE Hee-sup met with Deputy Director-General of China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism FU Hanxiao on the sidelines of the Esports Championships East Asia 2024 Opening Ceremony.
LEE Hee-sup said, the Trilateral Culture Content Industry Forum, organized by the ministries of three countries, serves as a key intergovernmental platform for cultural industry cooperation. The Esports Championships, an outcome of the Forum, have evolved into a unique avenue fostering understanding and recognition among the youth of the three countries. He looked forward to the institutionalization of the Esports Championships East Asia and added that TCS would continue to provide support.
FU Hanxiao said, the culture and sports event allows people to experience diverse cultural and natural riches and brings people closer to each other. The growth of the esports industry also aims to benefit the people of the three countries and to drive the development of related industries.
